Privacy Notice

Effective date: 16 October 2026. This notice explains how M Bite-Byte may handle information when you visit our website or contact us.

1. Who we are

M Bite-Byte operates the website at mbitebyte.com. For privacy questions or requests about information you have sent to us, email hello@mbitebyte.com.

2. Information we may handle

Website and technical information

When you visit the website, analytics and hosting services may process information such as pages viewed, referring pages, browser and operating-system details, device type, approximate geographic information and technical request data. The information actually collected depends on service configuration.

Enquiries and correspondence

If you contact us, we may handle your name, email address, phone number, organisation details, message contents, attachments and related correspondence that you choose to provide.

3. Why we use information

We may use information to operate and understand the website, respond to enquiries, communicate about possible or current work, maintain necessary business records, protect accounts and services, address misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations or handle disputes.

4. Website analytics — Umami Cloud

The website source includes the Umami Cloud tracking script. We use website analytics to understand visits and improve the website. Depending on the tracker and account configuration, analytics may process page views, referrers, browser, operating-system and device information, and approximate geographic information.

Umami describes its standard tracker as cookie-free, but we have not verified every account setting, browser condition or complete live data flow. We therefore do not promise that no information is ever stored on a device or that analytics requests are always accepted or retained. The retention period and account-specific deletion settings have not been confirmed for this notice.

5. Email and WhatsApp Business

We use Gmail, provided by Google, and the WhatsApp Business app to receive and respond to enquiries. The relevant providers may process account, communication, device, technical and security information to deliver and protect their services, subject to their applicable terms, privacy information and settings.

WhatsApp may use end-to-end encryption for eligible messages, but this does not mean all account information or service metadata is necessarily inaccessible to the provider. A connection to Meta Accounts Center or other Meta services may affect information handling. We have not confirmed all connected-account types or sharing and connected-experience settings, so we do not claim that cross-service sharing is disabled.

6. Service providers and processing locations

We rely on third-party providers for website analytics, email and messaging. Those providers may process information in countries outside India, depending on their infrastructure, service configuration and applicable arrangements. We have not independently established every processing location or account-specific contractual term; we do not promise that information remains exclusively in India.

7. Access and security

Our stated practice is that the business owner accesses enquiry communications. Providers may also process information as needed to deliver their services. We take reasonable steps appropriate to our circumstances to protect information, but no online service or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Account access and linked devices should be reviewed periodically.

8. Retention and deletion

We intend to retain enquiry information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage relevant business relationships, maintain necessary records, resolve disputes or meet applicable obligations. Actual retention may also depend on provider settings, policies, technical processes and backups. We have not confirmed the applicable Umami retention period or all provider deletion arrangements.

Deleting information from our own working records may not immediately remove copies retained by a provider or in backups where retention is permitted or required. We will consider reasonable requests in light of applicable law and the relevant service's capabilities.

9. Your choices and requests

You can choose whether to contact us by email or WhatsApp and should limit the personal information you include to what is relevant. You may email hello@mbitebyte.com to ask about information associated with your interaction, request correction or deletion where appropriate, or raise a privacy concern. We will consider requests under applicable law and the information reasonably available to us. You can also review the privacy controls offered directly by Google, WhatsApp, Meta and Umami.

10. Third-party services and changes

Third-party services are governed by their own notices, terms and settings. We may update this notice when our practices or applicable obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
